Dr. Anand is an interventional pain management physician. He is Board Certified in Pain Management and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Anand has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating patients with spinal and musculoskeletal diseases. He does a variety of advanced pain procedures, including:
Spinal cord stimulator trials; peripheral nerve stimulator; cervical, lumbar and thoracic selective nerve root blocks and transforaminal epidural injections, interlaminar epidural injections; cervical, lumbar and thoracic facet joint injections, medial branch blocks and radiofrequency ablation, sympathetic plexus blocks, peripheral nerve ablation, PRP-platelet rich plasma, prolotherapy and ultrasound guided injections.
Dr. Anand is a fellowship-trained physician with a distinguished career in Pain Management, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He provides excellent comprehensive care utilizing his vast clinical experience with a patient –centered approach. Dr. Anand offers the latest techniques and provides cutting edge treatments for treating pain.
Dr. Anand went to Medical school at AIIMS-All India Institute of Medical Sciences, the most prestigious medical school in India. He was trained in Orthopedic surgery at AIIMS. He did residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at University at Buffalo. He did fellowship in Pain Medicine at University of Rochester. He received the “Best Resident Research Award” while in residency.
